Dear combat friends!
International Women’s Day on March 8 is the day of International Solidarity of Women in the struggle for economic, social and political equality.
The decision on the annual celebration of International Women’s Day was made in 1910 at the 2nd International Conference of Socialist Women in Copenhagen at the suggestion of K. Zetkin.
In May 1965, by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, International Women’s Day was declared a non-working day «in commemoration of the outstanding achievements of Soviet women in strengthening and flourishing socialism, in defending the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War, their heroism and dedication at the front and in the rear, as well as noting the great contribution of women to strengthening friendship between nations and the struggle for peace
Today, in the modern world, the slogans of women’s struggle for real equal rights with men to be active in all areas of socio-political and cultural life, the economic sphere, for a decent assessment of their work, and protection of motherhood and childhood at the state level have become relevant again.
Today, Russia is once again, as in previous centuries, standing on the frontier, defending its civilizational principles, its life, saving the world from fascism.
In a very difficult, disturbing, and destructive period in Russia’s history, a woman rose up again to defend motherhood, childhood, the elderly, and the underprivileged. A woman has embarked on the path of fighting for justice, for a decent life, determined to be the intercessor of all those who need support and help, uniting caring women into a cohesive team.
There is a big threat hanging over us, we face big challenges, but we will overcome everything, as our predecessors once did.
The sacred duty of a mother woman, as the giver of human life, imposes on her a great responsibility to protect this life.
We’ve come a long way. For thirty years of active activity, we have overcome all adversities and obstacles, thanks to our unity, solidarity, and women’s solidarity.
I would like to express my gratitude to every female fighter of the Women’s Movement for her selfless, selfless work to unite the efforts of women in the social support of children, family and the older generation, the protection of civil rights, fostering a sense of love for the Motherland, respect for its history and dedication to the Great People, for high professionalism, honest citizenship.

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on International Women’s Day, March 8, which was born in the long and persistent struggle of women for their civil rights. This holiday has been widely recognized all over the planet.
Congratulating you on our beautiful, eternally young spring holiday, I wish you spiritual fortitude, self-confidence, joy and bright inspiration, boundless Love, bright Hope and Faith in our VICTORY!
I would like to wish everyone health, well-being and prosperity in the family, historical optimism, inexhaustible energy, victory in the struggle for a WORLD without Fascism, social justice, equality and friendship between peoples!
We firmly know that a woman is a great force, a woman is the beginning of all beginnings, the source of life.
