DEAR COMRADES! DEAR COMRADESS IN ARMS!
On December 1st 2020 it’s been 75 years since the day of the establishment of the Women’s International Democratic Federation (Women’s International Democratic Federation).
The Federation was born on wave of the Great Victory in the most devastating war in the human history. In those far-off days women, still bewailing their died during the war husbands, fathers, sons and daughters, who had first-hand knowledge, what was the war, foremost felt the necessity of the fight for the peace and prevention new wars on the Earth. Namely these problems, along with many others, were always in the focus of the attention of the Women’s International Democratic Federation. Over the years the Federation became the true mouthpiece of interests and defender of the women’s rights and freedoms. Its members constantly fight a battle for women’s, political and social-economic rights as well as ones for children and family.
Soviet women were among those who established the Federation and took active part at its activity. Nowadays the role of the Federation remains of prime importance. New problems appear, to which women are faced, and the Women’s International Democratic Federation rallies under its banners those, who is not indifferent to the human fate and its future.
We are – the women of Russia and those first of all, who in the difficult conditions for our country, have committed ourselves to the devotion in the cause of the people, are strongly convinced that for the fight against cruel exploitation, fight for the ideals of peace, freedom and justice we must cooperate in the closest way with the Women’s International Democratic Federation.
We, women-mothers are very worried about the situation in the world and of cause in Russia.
The world has entered in the epoch of the burning global crisis. The crisis has covered the politics, ideology, sociology, economics, medicine, public health service, ecology, after all every spheres of the human life. And the main thing is – that the spiritual human component is being destroyed.
We are very worried about the atmosphere on our borders. We have great respect for people of different nationality, who made our multi-national Soviet Union, which has won thanks to its unity and fraternity the most cruel in the human history Great Patriotic War, thereby has liberated the world from fascism. We know this, remember and are proud of this! We, women-mothers are very worried about the situation in the sister Republic of Belarus, in the Ukraine, as well as the situation about the military actions in the Nagorny Karabakh, where the wave of violence above over civilians periodically rises. The letters has been sent by us in furtherance of the sister people of the Ukraine, Belarus. We sent the addresses to: the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Aliev I.G and to the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Armenia Pashinyan N.V.
We appealed for stopping the bloody war, where the completely innocent people die, to hear the voice of mothers, whose hearts are torn with grief and pain at the sight of the dyed children, sons, daughters, to whom they have spared life and to whom they have blessed to the happy fate. We have applied to the statesmen, who are called upon and are able to deal with the matters of the life order of their people with pacific means without employment of military actions, with request to sit down to talk and find a way out of the present difficult situation, for which the Nations will only be thankful!

We are ready to do our best and necessary to expand and for deepness of our cooperation. Acting with you in united fall in, we share you attitudes towards the capital points of development of the modern world, toward the increasing of women’s role in life of every country. We are ready to shoulder the responsibility for our common future.
Please, accept our most sincere wishes for success in fight for PEACE and the best life on Earth.
